Hair Stylist

Stylist Lan Nguyen began her journey in hair at John Jay Cosmetology School in 2000 and has been immersed in hair ever since. She initially honed her craft for nine years at Stardust Salon in the Lower Garden District before moving to New York City to deepen her expertise.

In New York, she spent five years immersed in a rigorous apprenticeship and working as a stylist at the prestigious Bumble and bumble, even styling models for New York Fashion Week. Returning home to New Orleans, Lan spent four years at Rocket Science, followed by two years at Sweet Olive, before ultimately returning to Rocket Science—a salon she says feels like home.

Whether you know exactly what you want or only have a vague idea, I'm here to interpret your vision—even the parts you might not be able to put into words. Every detail matters to me. I love answering your questions and teaching you about your hair so we can create a look that perfectly fits your lifestyle.
