Jo Starnes

I’m a 22 year veteran in this amazing field of hair and beauty. 

I began my hair journey in the French Quarter at FiFi Mahony’s, our local makeup and wig shop. 

This led to Aveda Institute of Cosmetology where I earned my license in 2005. 

I interned at the Cutler Salon (Manhattan 2005-2006)where I pursued a career in editorial styling and precision cutting. 

I’ve traveled far to train with some of the greats and have owned/operated a salon for the last decade. 

My focus is gray blending, silhouette curl cuts, Vidal based bobs, and lived in color.
